A gem among South Indian breakfast recipes, its served with salna .

Popular south indian layered all purpose flour flatbreadĀ recipe which is also popularly known as malabar parotta or malabari paratha. this parotta is very similarĀ north indian paratha recipes but does not have any stuffing within it and is typically served for breakfast and lunch.
Everyone's favourite parotta

Paratha hails from south india, it has very similar attributes to north indian lachha paratha. both parathaās are layered and follows the same recipe preparation with spiral and rolling. however there are subtle difference between these 2 parathas. firstly, lachha paratha is usually prepared withĀ equal proportion of wheat and all purpose flour and hence it has less gluten. whereas malabar paratha entirely made by maida and hence it is more stretchy and has more gluten.
